Things to know before shopping

Measure your space. Be sure you measure your space before you visit! There’s nothing worse than bringing home your new dresser or other piece of furniture and realising it doesn’t fit.

Check stock. Whether you’re visiting an IKEA store or shopping online, take a few minutes to check the website and make sure the items you want to purchase are available at your local IKEA store, or available to order online.

Make sure you have space. If you’re shopping at an IKEA store, make sure you have enough room in your car. Check the product description on the website before you come to make sure your items will fit in your car. Also, be sure to clean out your car to make room for your new furniture!

Bring an appetite. Take a break from shopping and swing by the Swedish Restaurant or the Swedish Food Market to get a delicious snack or meal. Meatballs, salmon, sweet treats, kids’ meals and so much more!

IKEA Mobile: Download the IKEA app and start shopping for your new furniture and accessories now. It’s that easy!

Click and Collect: When you shop online, choose Click & Collect to pick your order up from an IKEA store that is most convenient for you. You can also choose a pick-up date and time that works best for you! Learn more about Click & Collect.

Delivery: Can’t make it to the store or a pick-up location? Choose delivery when you check out and get your items delivered directly to your front door – or wherever you want them sent! Learn more about the delivery service.

Payment options

Cash: You can pay with cash when you shop at IKEA store. We also accept foreign currencies (American Dollars, Euros or British Pound/Sterling).

Credit/Debit Card: You can pay with your preferred credit or debit card when you shop anywhere at IKEA. We accept, ATM cards, Visa, Mastercard, Electron and Maestro cards.
