Secure your furniture for safer homes!

IKEA-urun guvenligi R 1

We all want our homes to be a safe place. Together we can reduce the risk of accidents.

Furniture that can tip over can cause serious injury hazards. Don't forget to secure your furniture to the wall by using the supplied anti-tipping device with the original fixing brackets according to the instructions!

The best way to prevent accidents caused by tipping over is to fix the furniture to the wall. All kinds of furniture such as chests of drawers, wardrobes, and TV units should be securely fixed to the wall as recommended with the original fixing apparatus that comes out of the packaging.

At IKEA, we have been investing in innovative safety solutions to increase stability to ensure product safety for many years. We emphasise the sensitivity and vital importance of the issue and recommend that furniture should be fixed to the wall. We provide the fixing apparatus for fixing the products to the wall together with the products in question, and we show how to fix them to the wall in the assembly manual.

We kindly ask all our customers to check whether the bookcases, glass-door cabinets, wardrobes, chest of drawers, and similar products in their homes are fixed to the wall by the assembly instructions with the fixing apparatus provided with the product. If the anti-tipping fixing apparatus has been placed incorrectly or if additional fixing apparatus is required, you can obtain this apparatus free of charge by calling us at our Call Centre at 444 4 532 or you can fill out the Contact Us form. Please make sure to tick the "Spare Parts or Fixing Apparatus Request" field on the form. If you need assistance with fixing it, please visit your nearest IKEA Store or call our Call Centre on 444 4 532.
