IKEA recalls VARMFRONT power banks

IKEA invites all our customers, who own a VARMFRONT power bank, 10400 mAh, with a date stamp 2313, 2316, 2318, 2319 (YYHH) (model number E2038), and a VARMFRONT power bank, 5200 mAh, with a date stamp 2318, 2319, 2322 (YYHH) (model number E2037), to discontinue using such product and contact IKEA for a product change or a full refund. (YY refers to the year of production, while HH refers to the week of production.)

IKEA products are subjected to specific risk assessments and comprehensive tests to ensure that they can withstand the rigorous experience of daily life at home and comply with applicable requirements and regulations in all markets where IKEA has presence.

Despite all, it has been unfortunately found out that certain VARMFRONT power banks may pose a fire risk due to a manufacturing defect. This risk only applies to products with the date stamps as specified above. VARMFRONT power banks with the remaining date stamps are not affected from this recall.

For VARMFRONT power banks having the affected date stamps, please contact IKEA Türkiye for a full refund or product change without the need to submit an invoice or receipt.
