IKEA Recalls SOMMARLÅNKE and STRÅLA LED Lighting

IKEA is inviting all customers who have purchased certain outdoor LED lighting products from the SOMMARLÅNKE and STRÅLA product families to stop using these products and contact IKEA for a full refund. Safety is the top priority for IKEA. Due to a manufacturing error, the plug of these products does not fulfil a relevant safety standard, resulting in the risk of electric shock. Affected products can be identified via name of the LED-driver, date stamp of the LED-driver, and name of the plug (all details below).

During their development, IKEA products are risk assessed and thoroughly tested to make sure that our products comply with applicable requirements and regulation on all markets where IKEA operates.

The affected products can be identified by the name on the LED driver (ICPSH24-2-IL-1), the date stamp on the LED driver (YYWW - you can find all affected date codes in the list above), and the name on the plug (SYK-02F). Products with different LED drivers, different date codes, and different plugs are not included in this recall process. (YY represents the year of production, and WW represents the production week.)

Customers can return the affected products to IKEA Türkiye for a full refund—no receipt or invoice is required.
