“A lot of the inspiration for KAPPELAND lamp shades in rattan came from skilled artisans in Vietnam. I made several sketches that we discussed together, and after a bit of experimenting with different weave structures, we agreed on this decorative herringbone pattern that lets light through and creates beautiful shadows in the room.
